About Andy Stanbury
Andrew Stanbury works as a Conservation Scientist at the RSPB Centre for Conservation Science and joined the Rare Breeding Birds Panel in 2020. Over the last decade he has been involved with many research projects, including national surveys of Dotterel, Ring Ouzel, Snow Bunting, Cirl Bunting, Turtle Dove and investigating the causes of Hawfinch and Whinchat decline. He spent a year researching cranes in 2010 and now sits on the UK Crane Working Group, helping to collate the UK’s annual breeding figures.
